Sharon Clabo's abstract paintings are typically both subtle and bold; restrained, and assertive. They are influenced by color and its absence, by space, line, form, density and weight. They are influenced by everything by all of the human senses and by the history of art, recorded and unrecorded.
Playfulness, a willingness to take risks, and the high adventure inherent in all forms of creativity are as important to her as any resulting work.
Her paintings are sold through galleries and online, and are in many private and corporate collections.
